About DSS...

On April 10th 1992, I started a company called Communication Concepts in Livonia Michigan, a west side suburb of Detroit. We started out fixing pagers for the local pager dealers out of a 350 square foot, 2 room office suite, and within a year we were repairing 300+ pagers a week and moved up to an 800 square foot, 4 room suite. During the next year we became the 1st Motorola factory authorized pager service center in Michigan and were repairing 3000+ pagers a month.

In 1994, I decided to expand into the retail market and became a paging reseller and cellular phone retailer, and we moved up to a 2800 square foot store front location in a strip mall. Because we had on-site pager repair, our thinking was that we would have an advantage over the competition by providing our paging customers with free immediate repair of thier pagers. We became one of the largest paging and cellular dealers in southeast Michigan.

In 1995, I decided to expand our retail products and began selling other wireless products. On April 13th 1995, I recieved my ''new dealer'' package from Directv and I immediately filed a DBA for Digital Satellite Services. I continued business until 1998 when I sold the paging and cellular operation, but I retained the Directv dealership.

In March of 1999, I relocated the business to North Las Vegas, Nevada and operated as a home-based business until April of 2002 when I partnered with Mark and we opened a new store in the Hidden Canyon Plaza on Martin L. King Blvd. in North Las Vegas.

On May 1st 2005, we moved into the Cheyenne Commerce Center, our landlord raised the rent over $600 mo in less than 2 years, so we had to leave there. On June 4th 2007 we moved to our current location on Losee Rd.

Our current product portfolio includes: Directv, Dish Network, XM & Sirius Satellite Radio, HughesNet & WildBlue Satellite Internet, COX Cable Services and CLEAR (Clearwire) 4G Internet Services... we are directly authorized retailers for all these service providers.

Other than the Las Vegas Valley, we currently have sales agents and installers covering Maricopa County Arizona, and the Sacramento California area.

We currently hold a C2-D Contractors license in Nevada (expires 5/31/2012), our license number is 70937.
